Investor Meetings are pre-organised, 15 minute meetings with pre-selected startups. Our investors team will work with you to connect with the people behind some of the world’s most exciting startups.

Investor Meetings are open to specially selected investors. If you would like to take part please email investormeetings@websummit.com. Our team will review your suitability to take part and be in touch if we think you are a good fit.

There is a limit of two investors per table.

1) Investors are invited to select a preferred meeting time (morning or evening; Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) and 15 or more companies that match their own investment thesis from our database of attending startups.
2) Startups then select their own 15 minute meeting slot.
3) Leave the rest to us! Your meetings will appear under “My Schedule” on the Web Summit app.

Investor Meetings are the best deal flow opportunity at Web Summit. At Investor Meetings, you will meet with startups that you have selected who are looking for investment. At Mentor Hours, you will meet with startups that we will match you with who are looking for advice and mentorship.

Investor Meetings take place each day at Web Summit. There are three sessions every day, 9:30am, 12:00pm and 2:30pm. The Investor Meetings area is located beside the investor lounge.

Investor Meetings are the best deal flow opportunity at Web Summit. Startups will have organised their entire event around this opportunity to meet with you. Please contact the Mentor Hours team and ask them to rearrange your Mentor Hours time.

Once you have been invited to take part, we will send you the startups database. There, you can select as many startups as you wish. (Minimum selection is 15)

Yes. You can filter the database based on a number of categories including industry, geographical location, stage, etc.

Each Investor Meetings session lasts 2 hours and each startup gets 15 minutes with each Investor. It is not possible to fit in any more startups in each session. We can however arrange an introduction email to be sent to any startups you wanted to meet with but couldn’t fit into Investor Meetings.

Yes. If you select more startups that you can meet at Web Summit, we can introduce you to any that you didn’t get a chance to meet.

Yes. If a startup cancels, we can still organise an introduction.
